A couple of days ago I had to have surgery. It was a fairly minor exploratory surgery, but because of my genetic condition, my recovery is slow. I'm really tired, and my throat still hurts nearly three days later, because of course they had to give me a breathing tube during surgery. Since my body often acquires more damage than the average person, it takes longer to heal, and hurts for a lot longer too. I get so tired of dealing with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
